Our Ministry Assistant, Angela McClure, was born in Augusta, GA and raised in Jackson, SC. She and her family moved to Dearing, GA in 1993. She became a member of Fort Creek in 1998. Over the years Angela has helped with Mission Friends, Cherub Choir, Nursery, and VBS.

After working in the secular job market for over 35 years, Angela felt that God was calling her to do something else, but she didn't know what. In 2019 she decided to quit her job as Global Supply Chain Specialist to focus on her family, and to seek God's direction for her life. Finally in late 2022 our church posted the position of Ministry Assistant. This was the "something else."

Angela became part of the Ministry Team in January of 2023. She is the friendly face that will greet you in our office and our "go to girl."

​

She enjoys spending time with her husband, Danny, family and friends, listening to Christian music, sewing and reading. In 2022 she started learning how to garden, to help relieve stress and to grow some of her favorite vegetables like eggplant, okra, and tomatoes.

Angela asked Jesus to come into her heart and save her at a young age, during Children's Church one Sunday morning at the church she attended as a child. Her favorite verse is Lamentations 3:22-23. She is so thankful for God's compassion and faithfulness towards her. Angela considers it a privilege to serve her God and her church.
